Why the Web Site?

This web site has been constructed to keep the Performing Arts parents informed about the organization and it's activities. It also aids the CWPAB Executive board and committee coordinators by providing a solution to gather, track, and alert volunteers for concession events and the Winchester Classic.

Concessions

1. Explanation of our fund raising with concessions at Fall sporting events.
2. View Events that concession volunteers are needed, how many, and who else has signed up.
3. Volunteer to help at a specific concession event. Confirm by responding to email link to prevent other from signing you up.
4. Get a report of all the events you have signed up to to help and get that report emailed to you.
5. Receive a reminder email 3 days before and the day of your volunteer assignment.

Winchester Classic

1. Explanation of our fund raising with the Winchester Classic Band Competition.
2. View tasks that Winchester Classic volunteers are needed for, how many, and who else has signed up.
3. Volunteer to help at a Winchester Classic specific task. Confirm by responding to email link to prevent other from signing you up.
4. Get a report of all the Winchester Classic tasks you have signed up to to help and get that report emailed to you.
5. Receive a reminder email 3 days before and the day of your Winchester Classic volunteer assignment.

Membership Info

1. Get all the parents of the Performing Arts students to register at the web site for email communication.
2. Facilitates requests for help, CWPAB meeting schedules, minutes and other general communications.

Administration Menu

1. A secure login for the CWPAB Executive Board to self administer the web site.
2. Adding, editing and deleting concession events.
3. Administering concession event volunteers.
4. Adding, editing and deleting Winchester Classic tasks.
5. Administering Winchester Classic volunteers.
6. Adding, editing and deleting members. Noting board members and committee coordinators for web site listings.
7. Updating the scrolling home page marquee.
8. Updating the announcements section of the home page.
9. Update the next meeting schedule.
10. Update the meeting minutes.
11. Send mass email to all registered members. Next Meeting schedule, help needed, general information.
12. Adding, editing and deleting the 77 pictures that are currently displayed at the site.

Technical Details

1. The web site is hosted at godaddy.com for $70 a year with 5 GB of storage and 250 GB of monthly data transfer.
2. There are over 70 web pages using html, javascript and ColdFusion.
3. The database is MySQL.
